eMagin Hires Carollo
BELLEVUE, Wash., April 7, 2011 — Active-matrix OLED microdisplays manufacturer eMagin Corp. announced the appointment of Jerome T. Carollo as senior vice president of business development.
Carollo comes to eMagin from Intevac Vision Systems, where he held positions as vice president, general manager, and vice president of strategic planning and business development. Before that, he served as president and CEO of Creative Display Systems, a company he co-founded and then sold to Intevac.
Prior to that, Carollo held positions at Rockwell Collins Optronics, Kaiser Electro-Optics, Kaiser Electronics and General Electric.
His extensive experience with display systems and technology — including 3-D, digital night viewers and space telescopes — will help eMagin expand into the industrial and consumer markets, as well as build upon its position in the military sector.
