A technology that has helped improve eyesight is now more widely available, thanks to approval by the FDA. Created by physicians and scientists at the University of Rochester in New York, the Rochester Nomogram marks an advance for patients who undergo lasik surgery. A company that has licensed the technology from the university announced that the FDA has approved its use in its refractive surgery system.
