Vrooman Named Director of Toptica’s OEM Business

VICTOR, N.Y., May 17, 2011 — With more than 23 years of laser and laser instrumentation experience, Mike Vrooman has joined Toptica Photonics Inc. as director of OEM business, the company recently announced.

Vrooman will support existing OEM accounts and will expand business in the US, Mexico and Canada. He will operate from the West Coast to ensure a closer proximity to much of the company’s customer base.

Before joining Toptica, he worked at CrystaLaser LLC, where he promoted the company’s record growth. Before that, he worked at Coherent Inc., supporting laser instrumentation, high-end ultrafast oscillators and amplifiers, commercial diode modules and diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) lasers.
