Applied solutions company Idex Corp. announced Friday the close of its acquisition of Albuquerque, N.M.-based CVI Melles Griot. Idex announced its entrance into the definitive purchase agreement in a May press release; it purchased the manufacturer of lasers and optical equipment for $400 million in cash.
