Based in Culver City, Calif., Apic Corp., a supplier of photonics technology integrated with electronics, and the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, University at Albany, State University of New York, have formed a $10 million partnership to develop and commercialize “green” technology to enable faster and more energy-efficient computer chips.
