MicroVision Inks Distribution Deal with Intel
Ultraminiature laser display technology provider MicroVision Inc. has announced an agreement with Intel of Santa Clara, Calif. The latter will distribute and resell the former’s SHOWWX family of laser pico projectors through its US distribution channels.
Through its Channel Access Program, Intel’s small- and mid-size business and education customers will gain access to MicroVision’s pico projectors. The program increases awareness of the SHOWWX+ laser pico projector product line, particularly for applications of interest to this market sector.
The projectors, which will be available through select Intel channel partners next month, feature big-screen viewing for a variety of mobile devices, computers and consumer electronics.
