Rofin-Sinar Expands in Finland
Laser beam source and laser-based solutions manufacturer Rofin-Sinar Technologies Inc. has acquired a block of buildings in Tampere, Finland, through its wholly owned subsidiary CorelaseOy. The $5.3 million acquisition will enable an increase in manufacturing capacity for the company’s fiber laser series. The buildings provide more than 5000 m2 of floor space, including approximately 800 m2 of existing cleanroom capacity.
