Telops, Noveltis to Develop Pollution-Monitoring Systems
Telops and Noveltis of Ramonville-Saint-Agne, France, are collaborating to develop advanced instruments for monitoring air pollution emissions at industrial sites.
Telops is a manufacturer of high-performance infrared cameras and hyperspectral imaging systems; Noveltis is a software maker that specializes in space and environmental sciences. The companies expect to combine Telops’ hyperspectral imaging instruments with Noveltis’ software to create a package designed to detect and analyze diffuse emissions of pollutants produced at the source. The agreement also is expected to expand the markets served by both organizations.
"In this high-tech industry, Telops is pleased to enjoy partnerships with innovative organizations around the world. The agreement between Telops and Noveltis is a major step forward in terms of developing products and technologies we offer to our clients," said Paul Chabot, vice president of sales and marketing at Telops.
