Applied Energetics Opens Facility
Applied Energetics Inc.’s Laser Applications Center is now open and available for customer demonstrations. It contains high-energy, high-average-power, ultrashort-pulse (USP) laser system demonstration work centers as well as a visitors’ conference center. The USP technology removes material through ablation without causing heating in the surrounding area. Designed to provide commercial and military customers access to its products, the facility also enables demonstrations of the technology for processing materials and other customer applications. Based in Tucson, Ariz., the company develops and manufactures applied energy systems.
