Samsung Renews Tessera License

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 17, 2011 — Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. has renewed its license agreement with miniaturization technologies developer Tessera Technologies Inc. for another five years. Tessera said Samsung extended its Jan. 1, 2005, license agreement, scheduled to expire on May 17, 2012, to May 17, 2017. According to the agreement, Samsung pays royalties on a quarterly basis for semiconductor chip-scale package patents owned by Tessera. For more information, visit: www.tessera.comRead full article
