Lesaicherre Hired as Philips Lumileds CEO
SAN JOSE, Calif., Jan. 10, 2012 — Philips Lumileds appointed Pierre Yves Lesaicherre as CEO, effective immediately, the company announced.
Lesaicherre succeeds Michael C. Holt and will report directly to Philips Lighting’s acting CEO Frans van Houten. He brings to his new position more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor and components industry.
He worked previously as senior vice president and general manager of the microcontrollers and logic business lines at NXP Semiconductors.
Philips Lumileds provides LEDs for illumination solutions.
