Skorpios Technologies Closes Funding Round

Skorpios Technologies has closed a $19 million Series B round of financing, which will be used to expand its infrastructure and to complete the commercialization of its technology. Ericsson, Nokia Siemens Networks and other communications ecosystem companies participated in the funding. Founding investors Cottonwood Technology Fund and Sun Mountain Capital also participated. Based in Albuquerque, N.M., Skorpios Technologies designs, develops and manufactures integrated optical modules and subsystems in support of the entire optoelectronic communications ecosystem.
