Morgan Rejoins LightWorks Optics
TUSTIN, Calif., April 20, 2012 — William Morgan has returned to precision optical subassemblies supplier LightWorks Optics Inc. to lead it new business development efforts within the aerospace and defense market segments, the company announced.
Morgan previously was employed by LightWorks Optics in the early 2000s to help launch the company’s new business development department. In his new role, Morgan will provide strategic planning, market research and supervisory support to the team in an effort to grow market share within the defense market space.
He brings to the position more than 14 years of experience in business development and 16 years in technical program management and product development. He previously worked at Axsys Technologies-General Dynamics, Intevac Vision Systems, Rockwell Collins Optronics, OCA Applied Optics, McDonnell Douglas Electronics Systems and McDonnell Douglas Astronautics.
