HAMAMATSU, Japan, Sept. 5, 2012 — Hamamatsu Photonics K.K. has released the NanoZoomer-XR for whole-slide scanning. It minimizes workload and slide scanning time by automatically, continuously and rapidly scanning up to 320 slides. It converts a 15 × 15-mm area on a glass slide into a 1.1-gigapixel color image in 30 s. The scanned slides are viewed quickly through the NDP.view2 software, and are easily analyzed using the NDP.analyze IHC software. The scanner features blur- and error-free scanning, maintains a sharp focus on the specimen, and produces clear images, thanks to proprietary and patent-pending Dynamic...Read full article
