Philips (China) Investment Co. Ltd. of Shanghai held a groundbreaking ceremony in August for its LED Professional Lighting Solutions manufacturing facility in the Chengdu High-Tech Industrial Development Zone. As the company’s second headquarters in China, the site is expected to begin production in 2013.
