Materion Microelectronics & Services has opened a facility in Mesa del Sol, N.M., that provides precision parts cleaning and surface treatment of physical vapor deposition shield kits for the semiconductor, optics, photovoltaics, LED, medical consumables, wireless, data storage and hard disk drive industries. It complements Materion’s recently expanded Wheatfield, N.Y., site. Materion Microelectronics & Services is a unit of Materion Corp. of Mayfield Heights, Ohio.
