Rochester, N.Y.-based Germanow-Simon Corp., the parent company of G-S Plastic Optics, has completed a one-year, $3.25 million upgrade to its St. Paul Street facility. The renovations included doubling the manufacturing space for injection molding and quality assurance operations. G-S Plastic Optics manufactures polymer optics for LED illumination systems, and for imaging, scanning and detection applications. Its products are used in medical instruments.
