MicroVision Adds to Executive Team

REDMOND, Wash., April 24, 2013 — MicroVision Inc., a manufacturer of ultraminiature projection display technology, has appointed two industry veterans with a combined total of more than 50 years’ experience to its executive team.

Stephen P. Holt was named chief financial officer and will help accelerate strategic growth initiatives, enhance operations and optimize profitability. He has more than 20 years of global financial management and operations experience, most recently as CFO at venture capital-backed startup PixelOptics, where he negotiated strategic partner agreements to license technology, raised capital and helped bring the company’s first electronic focusing eyewear product to market.

Michael J. Franzi joined the company as vice president of marketing and business development for its PicoP display technology. He brings more than 30 years of leadership in marketing and business development for global technology companies, most recently serving as vice president and general manager of the Sonic Focus product line at Synopsys Inc. Before that, he was vice president of global licensing and business development at SRS Labs Inc., where he led intellectual property and licensing initiatives.

The two men join Dale Zimmerman, vice president of R&D, and Thomas Walker, corporate executive vice president, on MicroVision’s executive team.
