Flir Adds to Executive Team
Flir Systems Inc. has promoted Thomas A. Surran and Jeffrey D. Frank to executive management positions, effective immediately, the thermal imaging systems manufacturer announced Friday.
Surran was appointed president of Flir’s Commercial Systems Div., succeeding Andrew C. Teich, who recently was named president and CEO. Surran previously was the general manager of the company’s Raymarine segment and has held several other roles, including chief financial officer of the Commercial Systems Div.
Frank, with more than 25 years of experience in the infrared industry, was promoted to vice president of global product strategy. He previously served as the vice president of product strategy for the Commercial Systems Div.
Both men joined the company in 2004 when it acquired Indigo Systems.
