G-S Plastic Optics Hires Senior Apps Engineer
Val Moshkovskiy was named senior applications engineer at G-S Plastic Optics, a unit of the Germanow-Simon Companies.
In his new role, Moshkovskiy will support existing and prospective customers, develop proposals for the design and manufacture of injection-molded polymer optical components, and manage assigned programs.
He previously served as senior product manager for both Volpi Manufacturing and Idex Optics & Photonics. Before that, he was as an optical engineer for two engineering firms in the Ukraine, and taught engineering for eight years at the College of Radio-Electronic Engineering in Kiev. He speaks four languages.
Moshkovskiy’s “experience and substantial capabilities will further enhance the strength of our client support activities,” said Andy Germanow, president of Germanow-Simon Companies.
G-S Plastic Optics manufactures precision polymer optics for use in LED illumination systems, imaging, scanning and detection applications.
