Hamamatsu Photonics, Zecotek to Collaborate on Photodetectors

SINGAPORE, July 16, 2013 — Zecotek Imaging Systems Pte Ltd., the wholly owned subsidiary of Zecotek Photonics Inc., has signed a joint collaboration agreement with Tokyo-based Hamamatsu Photonics KK to manufacture photodetectors, integrated detector modules, and associated electronics and data acquisition modules for imaging applications. Hamamatsu is a supplier of optoelectronic components, including photomultiplier tubes and photodiodes used in positron emission tomography (PET) medical scanners, and in industrial and scientific applications.
