‘God particle’ theorists share physics Nobel

STOCKHOLM – Peter Higgs and François Englert will share the 2013 Nobel Prize in physics for their independent theoretical discoveries nearly 50 years ago of the Higgs boson, the so-called “God particle” that gives all other particles their mass.
