LightPath Technologies Inc. has appointed Steve Beninato its executive director of global sales. Beninato was most recently a regional sales director at TE Connectivity Ltd., formerly Tyco International Ltd. He spent more than 25 years of his career focused on the data communication industry and holds a degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida. LightPath provides optics and photonics solutions for blue-chip customers in the industrial, defense, telecommunications, testing, measurement and medical industries. They design, manufacture and distribute optical and IR components such as molded glass aspheric lenses and assemblies, IR lenses and thermal imaging assemblies, fused fiber collimators, custom optical assemblies, and gradient index lenses.
