Hellma to Acquire Axiom Analytical Assets
The Hellma Group, a manufacturer of optical solutions and components for the process industry, along with research and analytical laboratories, has announced an agreement to acquire the assets of Axiom Analytical Inc., a supplier of accessories and custom systems for molecular spectroscopy.
The acquisition will offer potential for more innovative products for the analytics business sector, said Lutz Mayer, CEO of Hellma Holding GmbH.
A team comprising representatives from both companies will control the integration process.
“With the Axiom Analytical acquisition we will ensure profitability in the industrial sector of the Hellma Group and in addition will focus more on industrial trends such as the increasing automation and growing quality requirements,” said Holm Kändler, president of Hellma Axiom Inc.
Norm Jennings and Mike Doyle, the two founders of Axiom Analytical Inc., will work as consultants for Hellma Axiom Inc. Support for customers and suppliers will be provided from its Tustin, Calif., location.
