Austin, Texas-based National Instruments Corp. announced that it had reached an agreement with Coreco Inc. of St.-Laurent, Quebec, Canada, in a patent infringement dispute regarding National Instruments' LabView graphical application development software.

Under terms of the settlement, National Instruments will license three patents in the US to Coreco, and Coreco will modify its WiT machine vision development software to eliminate similarities to LabView.

National Instruments produces software and hardware for applications in testing, measurement and industrial automation. Coreco's product line includes digital signal processors and software for OEM computer vision applications.
