AMICS is a software platform for automated identification and quantification of mineral and synthetic phases. It can be used in conjunction with scanning electron microscopes (SEM), SEM-related energy dispersive x-ray spectrometers or novel micro x-ray fluorescence (μXRF) analyzers.
Bruker provides systems for life science molecular research in applied and pharmaceutical applications, microscopy, nanoanalysis and industrial applications, as well as cell biology, preclinical imaging, clinical research, microbiology and molecular diagnostics.
- The emission of light or other electromagnetic radiation of longer wavelengths by a substance as a result of the absorption of some other radiation of shorter wavelengths, provided the emission continues only as long as the stimulus producing it is maintained. In other words, fluorescence is the luminescence that persists for less than about 10-8 s after excitation.
