Blackbird Robotersysteme Opens Remote Welding Lab in US
STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. — Remote laser welding developer Blackbird Robots Inc. has opened a new facility near Detroit with an applications laboratory.
“We have been able to support our customers with local service engineers since the opening of our office in Michigan in 2014,” said Tim Morris, vice president of sales and service for Blackbird Robotics. “Now that we have the infrastructure in place, we can also provide local training and application support. The next step will be providing selected repair and maintenance measures.”
A subsidiary of Scanlab AG, Blackbird Robotics is a developer of solutions for remote laser welding with scan optics, enabling integration of mirror-based beam deflection units into industrial manufacturing systems.
