Pro-Lite Opens Barcelona Facility
Photonic equipment and services provider Pro-Lite Technology Ltd. has expanded into Spain and Portugal with the opening of Pro-Lite Technology Iberia in Barcelona, Spain.
Pro-Lite Iberia will mirror the technology and applications focus of the rest of the Pro-Lite group, specializing in instruments for measuring light and the optical properties of materials; photometry and colorimetry; lasers and related equipment; optics and optical materials; and spectroscopy and spectral imaging.
The facility will be managed by Luz Ruiz, president of the Spanish Light Technologies Cluster and a member of the board of directors of the Spanish Applied Spectroscopy Royal Society. Prior to joining Pro-Lite Iberia as general manager, Luz was the business unit director and sales manager at several Spanish photonics equipment suppliers, and brings with her a wealth of experience of a variety of optical and spectroscopic technologies.
