Interconnect data solutions provider Mellanox Technologies Ltd. has appointed Alinka Flaminia as its senior vice president and general counsel, assuming responsibility for the company’s global legal affairs, public policy interests and compliance operations. Gideon Rosenberg, vice president of legal affairs, will take on the additional role of deputy general counsel. ”Alinka brings to Mellanox Technologies the right blend and depth of skills and experience to lead our Company's legal affairs, helping us as we drive the industry to the next generation of networking technology in a wide range of markets including high-performance computing, enterprise data centers, Web 2.0, cloud, storage and financial services," said Eyal Waldman, president and CEO of Mellanox Technologies. Flaminia brings more than 25 years of legal experience with technology companies, most recently serving as vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary of PMC-Sierra Inc., from 2007 to 2016. Flaminia has also held corporate and other in-house legal roles at Xilinx Inc. and Network Associates Inc. She received her law degree from the University of Colorado and her bachelor’s degree from Yale University.
