Wilson Appointed Chairman of UKIVA

WALLINGTON, England, Feb. 16, 2017 — The UK Industrial Vision Association (UKIVA) has made Paul Wilson, managing director of machine vision integrator Scorpion Vision Ltd., its new chairman.

Wilson took the helm of the organization at its recent annual members’ meeting, replacing Ian Alderton. Wilson served for two years as vice chairman of the Association and will hold his new position for another two years. Allan Anderson, managing director of Clearview Imaging, was elected as the new vice chairman.

Wilson established Scorpion Vision in 2006, and the company has since grown from a component sales business to a machine vision specialist integrator.

UKIVA promotes the use of image processing technology by the U.K. manufacturing industry.
