Elbit Awarded $82M Contract
High-technology developer Elbit Systems Ltd. has been awarded an $82 million contract to provide an Asian-Pacific country with a comprehensive, electro-optic airborne solution for use in intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance missions.
The contract, which is a follow-up order from an existing customer, will be performed over a four-year period by Elbit Systems' ISTAR division. This Elbit Systems program is being performed in cooperation with Elta Systems Ltd., which is supplying additional content.
Elbit Systems provides technology for aerospace, land, naval, command, control, computers, intelligence surveillance, reconnaissance, unmanned aircraft systems, advanced electro-optics, electro-optic space systems and communications uses.
