Optical systems developer Jenoptik Optical Systems LLC has appointed Ronald Moore as its vice president of sales and marketing, replacing Ray Malcom. Moore will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to sustain the company’s growth while also managing all aspects of North American marketing and communications. “Ron’s proven leadership abilities and enviable track record of successfully implementing large-scale sales and marketing initiatives will help Jenoptik meet the evolving demands of the global marketplace,” said Jay Kumler, president of Jenoptik Optical Systems. “The US. sales and marketing team at Jenoptik Optical Systems has done an outstanding job driving the growth and maturity of the business,” Moore said. “Ray Malcom has done a great job in the past 10 years leading the sales organization and will remain with Jenoptik in a new role focusing specifically on semiconductor equipment business development.” Moore has more than 25 years of experience in the photonics industry, previously serving as director of global OEM accounts at MKS Instruments Inc./Newport Corp., North American sales director at New Focus and global director of sales and marketing for GSI Lumonics Inc.
