Revels Made Fiberguide VP of Operations

STIRLING, N.J., Dec. 21, 2017 — Optical fiber and assembly developer Fiberguide Industries Inc. has appointed David Revels as its new vice president of operations.

David RevelsBesides managing the company’s optical fiber assembly manufacturing operations, Revels has also been tasked to lead the construction, installation and commissioning of new optical fiber draw towers and related equipment. Besides expanding optical fiber capacity, the new towers will also allow advanced fiber draw technology to be incorporated into the company’s existing processes and create additional product categories, allowing expansion into new areas within the market.

“With his breadth of experience, Dave is uniquely qualified to help Fiberguide accelerate its efforts to automate its processes, ensuring our status as best-in-class in all operations related to fiber production and assembly,” said Patricia Seniw, president of Fiberguide.

Revels has 25 years of experience in management roles overseeing global operations, manufacturing and supply chain functions. He joins Fiberguide from TE Connectivity Ltd. where he was regional director of American operations. Revels holds an MBA in executive management and a bachelor’s degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Fiberguide is a manufacturer and supplier of custom-designed specialty optical fiber and optical fiber assemblies.
