StockerYale Forms Tunable Optical Filter Unit

SALEM, N.H., Nov. 7 -- Citing the telecommunications industry's increasing demand for bandwidth, StockerYale Inc. will invest in a subsidiary business called Optune Technologies that will develop a new class of tunable optical filters (TOFs). The investment in the TOFs represents a step toward creating the components needed for the reconfigurable, all-optical networks of the future, said StockerYale.
