HiTek Power Introduces Serial Interface Card

HiTek Power has introduced an RS232C Serial Interface Card to offer remote control of its range of high-voltage power supplies. The interface card has been designed to operate in an electrically noisy environment, with protected inputs and outputs. This ensures that it can withstand arcs in the high-voltage system without data corruption.

The interface card has eight analogue inputs, four analogue outputs, 12 digital inputs and five digital outputs. Connection is via dual fiber optic or 9-way D type connector for copper cable. The card supports a number of protocols tailored for specific markets. These can be link-selected on the board, and include standard controls for programmable instruments and the HiTek power standard protocol.

The card can be specified as a standard option on any of HiTek Power's ranges of rack-mounted units. It can also be supplied as a stand-alone item for integration into other systems.
