NEWBURYPORT, Mass., March 30 – Gigahertz-Optik GmbH (GO), a German manufacturer of optical radiation metrology instrumentation and a PTB accredited optical radiation calibration laboratory, announced the opening of its new US subsidiary Gigahertz-Optik Inc., in Newburyport, Mass.
    Covering the US and Canada, Gigahertz-Optik Inc. will sell and calibrate GO GmbH radiometers, photometers, colorimeters, optical power meters and integrating spheres for use in a wide range of ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared measurement applications.
    Mr. Robert Angelo, former vice president of International Light Inc., was named director of operations for the new subsidiary.
