Struthers Joins PD-LD
Bob Struthers joined PD-LD Inc. as its executive vice president of business development, the company announced.
Struthers brings to the position more than 30 years of experience in photonics and semiconductors. He will be responsible for driving new partner development and new product commercialization to increase the company’s product portfolio and access to markets worldwide. In addition, he will identify new global business opportunities and provide customized solutions to new partners.
Prior to joining PD-LD, he served as director of sales and marketing at Goodrich ISR Systems-Princeton.
Volume Bragg Grating technology provider PD-LD manufactures and assembles pigtailed and receptacle-mounted fiber-coupled laser diodes, LEDs, detectors, high-power pulsed lasers and bidirectional devices for the optical communications, test equipment and medical markets.
