$1M Endoscope Order Received
Optical instruments maker Precision Optics Corp. Inc. of Gardner, Mass., has announced a $1 million order for its Microprecision-based endoscopes. Details of the agreement were not disclosed. The endoscopic medical devices deliver optical and mechanical specifications that are among the most challenging in the industry, the company said. They rely on proprietary Microprecision technology for fabrication and assembly of lenses and prisms with sizes <1 mm. The order is contingent upon the successful validation testing of prototype units and the execution of an acceptable supply agreement delivery schedule.
