Display technology developer 4D Systems has opened a new factory in the Philippines in response to an increasing demand for intelligent display solutions.

The new facility will have capacity for contract manufacturing, which will allow the company to build turnkey solutions for the assembly or subassembly of customers’ end products. The new plant features a >2000-m2 area with two full surface-mount technology lines with capacity for four million components daily. It can handle printed circuit board assembly, final assembly, testing and packaging. To accommodate future growth, space for two additional lines is available for quick extension of capacity.

“We are very excited to be opening this new facility as a result of the high demand for our display solutions that is driving exceptional growth,” said Atilla Aknar, CEO of 4D Systems. “We see many of our customers looking for bespoke designs and turnkey solutions for assembly, as well as our portfolio of display solutions, and we can now offer a complete, tailored service that guarantees quality and reduced cost of manufacture. We are meeting an entirely new set of criteria that positions us as ideal partners for our global customers ahead of the competition.”

4D Systems is a developer and manufacturer of intelligent graphic display modules.
