ABB and ETH Zurich Extend Robotics Partnership

ZURICH, May 24, 2021 — Global technology company ABB and ETH Zurich are expanding their partnership in robotics research as part of ETH’s RobotX initiative. The partnership between ABB and ETH builds on an existing collaboration launched in 2014. ABB has donated 2.5 million CHF to support the RobotX initiative. The RobotX initiative, launched in 2019, is intended to position ETH as a leader in robotics research institutions. The effort will be supported by ABB’s Robotics and Discrete Automation business.
