Aculight Plans December Move to New HQ
Aculight Corp., a Bothell, Wash., maker of lasers and optical systems for the aerospace, defense and medical markets, will move to larger corporate headquarters, two miles from its existing facility, in December. The new building has approximately 50,000 square feet of combined office, laboratory and manufacturing space and will enable expansion of the company's research, product development and manufacturing capabilities, said CEO Don Rich. Aculight was recently named one of the 100 fastest growing area companies by the Puget Sound Business Journal; Rich attributes the company’s 78.3 percent revenue growth from 2003 to 2005 to setting aggressive goals.
