Allied Motion to Change Corporate Name to Allient Inc.

Allied Motion Technologies Inc., a global designer and manufacturer of precision and specialty motion, controls, and power products and solutions, will change its corporate name to Allient Inc. The company said that the name change will symbolize the evolution of the business from a products-based business in motion control to a solutions-oriented company that addresses its customers’ requirements for motion, controls, and power technology for a multitude of applications. The new ticker symbol on the Nasdaq exchange will be ALNT. The changes will be effective Aug. 23.
