Infrared-based materials and systems manufacturer IRphotonics of Hamden, Conn., has established the Application Engineering Center. The expansion is a result of increased interest in the company’s thermal spot curing system as an in-line portable heat source for localized heating of bonded assemblies and curing of adhesives.
