Applied Energetics Opens Applications Center
TUCSON, Ariz., Sept. 8, 2011 — Applied Energetics Inc.’s advanced technology Laser Applications Center is now open and available for customer demonstrations, the company has announced.
The center contains the newest high-energy, high-average-power ultrashort pulse (USP) laser system demonstration work centers as well as a visitors’ conference center. The USP technology removes material through ablation without causing heating in the surrounding area.
Designed to provide commercial and military customers access to its products, the facility also enables demonstrations of the technology for processing materials and other customer applications.
Applied Energetics develops and manufactures applied energy systems for military and commercial applications.
