Artemis Vision, a machine-vision integration solutions provider based in Denver, Colo., and VAIA Technologies LLC, a Boston, Mass.-based integrator, have completed the requirements necessary to receive accreditation as AIA Certified System Integrators. AIA, the Automated Imaging Association, grants this certification to integrators that meet specific industry criteria. These two companies join a group of 13 current Certified System Integrator companies. Their certification will be effective for three years at which time they can re-certify.

“The team at Artemis Vision is thrilled to become an AIA Certified Vision Integrator. Certification provides further assurance to our customers that our company meets the level of experience and skill set desired to specialize in vision system integration,” said Tom Brennan, president of Artemis Vision.

AIA’s director of market analysis, Alex Shikany said, “Artemis Vision and VAIA Technologies have proven their experience in vision system integration . . . We warmly welcome both companies to the AIA Certified System Integrator community.”

The Certified System Integrator criteria includes: years of vision system integration experience; skill level of employees (with a minimum number of advanced level Certified Vision Professionals); number of successful integration projects completed each year; and verifiable experience in the industries they wish to show specialization.

Artemis Vision’s Tom Brennan will be leading a Photonics Media webinar on “Selecting the Best Sensor for Your Machine Vision Requirements” in May 2018.
