MUNICH, April 11, 2016 — Attocube Systems AG has announced a new management board, effective as of April.

The company said that after 15 successful years with double-digit growth rates, Dirk Haft and Khaled Karraï, who founded Attocube in 2001, will now transfer the running of the company to Martin Zech.

Alongside his new function on the management board of Wittenstein AG, Haft will carry on shaping and guiding Attocube as chairman of the supervisory board, and Karraï will continue to support the company as scientific director, steering the development of ideas as innovation manager and accompanying the development processes for new products as scientific mentor.

Zech assumes the position of managing director after seven years at the company and a long track record of collaboration with its founders. He graduated with a doctorate in physics from the University of Konstanz. Following two years as a research assistant at Harvard University in Cambridge, Mass., he joined Attocube as product manager and head of product management in 2009. Since 2011 he has been the company’s chief technical officer.

Attocube develops, produces and distributes ultraprecise drive technology and measurement instrumentation for nanotechnology applications.
