Berliner Glas Acquires Prinz Optics

BERLIN, Feb. 22 -- Berliner Glas has acqiured a majority interest in Prinz Optics, of Stromberg, to be effective July 1.

Prinz Optics, which makes optical coatings using the sol-gel immersion method, will continue to operate in Stromberg, under the same name. Peter Rohlen will remain the company’s managing director.

Berliner Glas Group is a provider of technical glass processing methods and recision optics components, modules and systems.
