BioTek Expands into Switzerland

BioTek Instruments, a manufacturer of microplate instrumentation and software headquartered in Winooski, Vt., has established a European direct sales and service organization, BioTek Instruments (Switzerland) GmbH. BioTek Switzerland was created from a previous partnership with Witec AG in Littau, Switzerland, and will be managed by Margrit Limacher, Witec’s founder, who will also continue managing the existing Witec. Both companies focus on life science products and will operate from the same location.
