The 4500-sf center is colocated with Biolase’s headquarters, and comprises a main lecture hall, hands-on lab, meeting rooms, a business center and café. The hands-on laser lab features the company’s WaterLase iPlus all-tissue laser and EPIC X diode laser at each station, along with the capability for live video demonstrations with built-in monitors at each station.

There are more than 20 laser courses planned to take place at the Biolase Learning Center this year, which coordinates course offerings to meet the needs of Biolase customers and the World Clinical Laser Institute, as well as regional dental schools that require laser education capabilities beyond what their university can provide, the company said.

Biolase’s principal products are dental laser systems that perform a range of dental procedures, including cosmetic and complex surgical applications, and a full line of dental imaging equipment. The company reports having sold more than 30,500 of its laser systems.
