Boston Electronics to Distribute Nikkiso Products

BROOKLINE, Mass., Nov. 28, 2016 — Electro-optical solutions developer Boston Electronics Corp. has partnered with UV technology developer Nikkiso America Inc. to distribute Nikkiso's UV-LED products in North America.

“The partnership with Nikkiso is very exciting for Boston Electronics,” said Rick Mannello, CEO of Boston Electronics. “We see growing demand for advantaged UV-LED products in the market, and we quickly recognized Nikkiso as a premier supplier of these products. Combined with our sglux UV detector and sensor partnership, we now offer comprehensive UV sensor solutions to the market.”

Boston Electronics is a provider of electro-optical solutions such as photodetectors, LEDs, tunable lasers, imaging arrays and photon counting detection, spanning the spectrum from UV to visible and IR. Nikkiso America provides technologies to a range of industries including medical, aviation, life sciences, and microelectronics.
